Location: South-East of Poole Old Town, on North edge of Poole Harbour, looking South to Brownsea Island

Directions: Follow signs to Poole Quay, Poole Pottery or Poole Old Town then follow signs to Baiter & slipway

Parking: Baiter Car Parks (3 of them) are all now pay & display.   and Labrador Road alongside Baiter Park is also covered by meters!
The most popular car park for kiters is also the coach park, if you can find a space at the end where the coaches go
(by the exit) you will be close to the best area for kites, and close to the toilets (which can be handy).
There is also a Car Park by the slipway, and another by the BMX Club Hut and Cycle Track.
CAUTION - car parks locked at dusk, no sleeping permitted.

Facilities: Prime site with toilets, payphone, snack bar (+ ice-cream vans). BMX circuit & Clubhouse, slip-way into Poole Harbour
Ten minutes walk for Sainsbury & Poole High Street shops. Tourists Road Train stops regularly at the car park.

Accessibility: Excellent - Park and fly!

Flying Area: Finest kind - Smooth, level grass - about 600 by 250 yards

Comments: Good for buggies when dry, maybe water-logged after rain - Beware people, dogs & bikes.
Poole harbour for kite-surfing - beware weekend sailors
NB - Buggy pilots must carry proof of proper BBC 3rd party buggy insurance.
