Location: 3 miles North of Swanage

Directions: A.351 to Corfe Castle, turn onto B3351 to Studland.
Follow road through village, past big hotel on LHS, look for turn off to right, signed KNOLL BEACH - NATIONAL TRUST

Parking: Paying car parks adjacent - get out on time or get locked in! 8.00 pm deadline.

Facilities: Toilets, shop & cafe right by beach. Pubs, shops and Shell garage in village.

Accessibility: good, also for disabled

Flying Area: On the beach - not much room in Summer or at high tide, so have short lines (75 ft max) for stunt kites.

Comments: You can walk out a long way in shallow warm water - still flying !
Watch out for speedboats, jet skis and nudists at Poole end!
Not much good here if wind is Westerly (offshore). Ballard Down close by.
